Technology is power in this era and the future ahead. Freedom matters . FOSS community strives to foster the spirit of freedom with respect to technology. Consider the following two as an analogy to differentiate between proprietory vs open source software.

1. A school with strict rules and uniforms. If you break the rules you get punished. You could only do what you have been told. You cant express your ideas, nor can make choices about what you want to learn, which subjects you want to take etc.

2. There is another school without walls, which gives you freedom to make your own choices. There are no strict rules laid down, everybody shares their knowledge. You have freedom to choose what you want to learn, what subjects you want to take. Morever, you can share your own knowledge with others who are eager to listen to what you have to say.

Which one would you choose…..

I have made my own choice and I am here to share whatever little knowledge I have and help to solve problems generally faced by novice users…
